And it’s time for some honey!

5 month ago, we talked about Abell’s bee’ cause we care employee program, how Abell’s employees were able to start amateur bee farms through it, and we shared Ruth Gowan and her daughter’s story (you can find it here).

Now Ruth sent us an update on her hard working honey bees …

“The Honey Bees have been busy this summer. On Sunday we “harvested” some of the liquid gold,  keeping in mind we need to leave enough behind for the bees this winter.”

It is very nice to see how the process gets to completion, starting with a NUC all the way to filling the jars.
